SCOT made our relocation from the US to France smooth and stress-free. When we decided to base ourselves in Paris rather than Alsace, they adapted quickly — their local network still came through for finding housing in the city. SCOT Relocation & Immigration has helped make our dream into a reality. Our relocation to Europe is a bit complicated as one of us continues to work while in France, one is retired, and we brought our golden retriever which required even more documentation. To say this process is complicated is truly an understatement, but with the professional guidance from SCOT every step of the way, we made it happen. We used SCOT to help with French phones, bank accounts, securing an amazing apartment, visas, utilities, furniture shopping, buying appliances, and they even helped with removal of empty boxes once we were settled. SCOT is well established in Strasbourg and the surrounding area, they are well known with an excellent reputation, and their connections provide additional discounts to other services. Six months ago, we weren’t sure we would ever move, given the reality of visa applications, health insurance, finding a local bank, apartment rental, etc. We came to Strasbourg in February on a scouting trip and hired Brigitte Kittel of SCOT Relocation. It was the best decision we made. We were able to tailor our contract from a menu of services that even included help on moving our cat. Throughout the process, the team at SCOT was helpful, good natured, and incredibly efficient. They cut through the notorious French bureaucracy. They found us several apartments that were perfectly suited to our needs and helped with the complex rental agreements. We were able to move into our Strasbourg apartment four months after we signed our agreement with SCOT. We had a wonderful experience working with Brigitte, Amandine, and the SCOT Relocation team. They made handling housing, visas, and school registration for our two young kids smooth and stress-free. Their personal guidance and local insights were invaluable, and the housing search in particular was phenomenal. Brigitte was very thorough with her apartment video walkthroughs. We have been advisored by Scot in our relocation from Chile. Since the very beginning we noticed the high level, professional and commited work.
